History

Paula's father inherited 20 hectares in the Três Pontas region in 1950 and began cultivating coffee. He sold the cattle he had to plant more coffee. As his harvests grew, he purchased more land until he reached the 310 hectares the farm has today. Thirty years ago, Paula's father handed over the management of the farm to Francisco, her brother. He managed the coffee production on the farm, continuously increasing the yield and investing in technology. About 10 years ago, Paula began helping on the farm, taking care of accounting, purchasing necessary supplies, managing employee salaries, ensuring workplace safety, and handling general farm matters. A few years ago, her brother Francisco became the general director of Cocatrel, and Paula took over as the general administrator of the property. She started investing more and more in technology and improving the quality of the farm's coffee.
