WHAT WE DO
The Cocatrel Cafeína Group is a movement that strengthens and values the presence of women in coffee farming, encouraging knowledge, the exchange of experiences, and active participation in the sector.
Currently, Cocatrel has over 2,000 women as primary cooperative members, representing 22% of its total members, and more than 730 women actively participate in the group, forming a support and learning network focused on coffee production.

The Cafeína Group brings together women in more than 77 cities across Brazil, with a significant presence in Minas Gerais.


THE GOALS
VALUING FEMALE DIVERSITY IN COFFEE GROWING:
Highlighting the different roles of women in the sector, recognizing their contribution at all stages of the coffee production chain.
ENCOURAGING FAMILY SUCCESSION AND FEMALE LEADERSHIP:
Inspiring women to take their place in family businesses through real stories, training, and access to strategic information.
PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND CONNECTIONS:
Facilitating the exchange of experiences, offering continuous training, and encouraging joint participation in events focused on women and the coffee industry.
STRENGTHENING FEMALE PRESENCE IN COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT:
Encouraging the active participation of women in the development of the cooperative by promoting dialogue, suggestions, and collaborative actions that positively impact the sector.
