History
Adalgisa is from a traditional family of farmers, there are several generations of coffee farmers, coffee production has always been in the blood of the family, is a tradition. When her mother and father were married they moved to Caxambu, a hydromineral resort where there was no coffee plantation, the ever-pulsating origins of coffee encouraged them to form the first coffee crop in that county.
Since childhood, she has always been very involved with coffee farming.
When Adalgisa married in 1985, she returns to Tres Pontas, where her husband Gilson already owned a coffee farm. Thinking of running the farm with her husband, she took a Technologist course in coffee management.
Adalgisa and her husband are owners of Pinhal Farm, which has been in the family for generations. They are always renewing crops to achieve production and quality.
They work on the farm with a group of coffee-harvesting women who, after the harvest season, help with crop management for the remainder of the year. Thus the property fulfills its social role of job creation and quality of life improvement for all involved in the coffee production process.
