History

My name is Nilce. My journey with coffee has been a lifelong one. Since I was born, my parents worked with coffee, and I grew up watching them in the fields, which made me fall in love with the culture from an early age. After losing my parents, the inheritance was divided, and when I got married and had children, we moved to the city so they could study. I got a job at a clothing company, where I worked as a production supervisor for 15 years. During that time, my children graduated from college.

With my children's education completed, I decided to return to my roots in coffee. This time, I wanted to do something different: produce specialty coffees. That's when I sought certification, and on the first visit from the technician responsible for adjustments, he mentioned the Grupo Cafeína. From that point on, everything changed. Iandra came here and gave me many valuable tips on yard management and post-harvest. In the group, we always support each other. I took many courses, and since 2019, I have been certified and actively participating in Grupo Cafeína.

Here, we work as a true family farm: me, my husband Francisco, and our son Gabriel.
