History
Jose Mauricio was passionate about the truck driver's profession, but he got tired of the roads and decided to buy a farm in 1982. The farm is composed of a small concrete patio and a simple house. The harvest is done in the months of June and July, part of the plantations he can harvest with agricultural machinery and another part is made manually. During the harvest period, about 10 employees from the northern region of Minas Gerais go to the farm to harvest the coffee. In addition to the patio, there is a small coffee dryer. With his tractor, José Mauricio manages to transport the coffee from the plantations to the drying yard. Like most farms in the Ilicínea region, there are no machines to clean dry coffee, so Jose Mauricio needs to hire a truck that has a cleaner attached. José Mauricio and his son Junior want to make new experiences with the brew of coffee, so they are thinking of buying a coffee washer and a pulped machine. Plenty of nature is all around the place which turns out to be a peaceful place to visit and live.
