History

Elias is the son of a coffee producer in the city of Ilicínea, southern Minas Gerais. But many years ago, he moved to the city of Ribeirão Preto, in the state of São Paulo, where he worked as a house-builder and did not think about being a coffee producer like his father, Mr. João Sudário Reis. But Elias’ wife, Rosa Reis, in 2013, told him that she wanted to live in Ilicínea and produce specialty coffee. Elias liked the idea and soon they went back to Ilicínea where they bought a small piece of land at great altitude and nice climate to start their coffee cultivation. Nowadays, they are still organizing the farm, so they can improve their coffee lots.
